Here's what we're learning next week:
Reading - The essential question next week is "How do we use money?" Problem and solution is the comprehension skill, and we will be working on paragraph clues as the vocabulary strategy.
The vocabulary words are invented, money, prices, purchase, record, system, value, and worth.
Grammar/Writing - We will be learning about adverbs and prepositional phrases.
Spelling - Our spelling pattern is words with vowel team syllables.
Math - We will be learning how to measure weight and capacity.
Social Studies - We will be learning about the first Americans and America's earliest settlers.
Religion - We will be learning how you can take part in the celebration of the Mass.
Science- We will be learning about weather.
